Installation Guide

Get Paylane installed and ready to use in less than 2 minutes.

Prerequisites

  • Google Chrome browser (version 90+)
  • A Paylane wallet (Metamask, Rabby, Rainbow, or other supported wallets)
  • ETH or USDC for transactions

Step 1: Install from Chrome Web Store

  1. Open Paylane on the Chrome Web Store
  2. Click the blue "Add to Chrome" button
  3. Review the permissions and click "Add extension"
  4. Wait for the installation to complete (about 5 seconds)

💡 You'll see the Paylane icon appear in your Chrome toolbar once installation is complete.

Step 2: Connect Your Wallet

  1. Click the Paylane icon in your toolbar
  2. Select "Connect Wallet" in the popup
  3. Choose your preferred wallet (Metamask, Rabby, Rainbow, etc.)
  4. Approve the connection in your wallet app
  5. Confirm your wallet address in the Paylane popup

Step 3: Start Shopping

Visit any webshop that accepts Paylane payments. When you're ready to checkout:

  1. Look for "Pay with Paylane" or "Paylane" payment option
  2. Click Paylane's button to autofill and confirm payment
  3. Review the transaction details and approve in your wallet
  4. Your payment is confirmed instantly!

Troubleshooting

Extension not showing in toolbar?

Click the extensions icon (puzzle piece) in the top right, then pin Paylaneto your toolbar.

Can't connect wallet?

Make sure your wallet extension is installed and unlocked. Try refreshing the page.

Transaction failed?

Check your Paylane balance and network fees. Try again on a supported webshop.
